We often experience a myriad of emotions throughout the day. Personally, I'm at my best and extremely productive at the beginning of my day. I also have a sunny disposition and talk quite a bit in the mornings. I know these things about myself. I also recognize that most of my family, friends and colleagues are not as loquacious and excited as their day begins. It's good to know your strengths and to recognize your challenges. It's also great to know the habits and disposition of your family, friends and colleagues. Meshing the two can be a challenge but the outcome is usually mutually beneficial for everyone involved.

Today is My Forever Friend Michael's Birthday...
It is wonderful to sit and share...we spent the afternoon doing what friends do ~ just being in each other's presence. Happy Birthday My Friend...I love you FOREVER!
Patience
My girlfriend spent almost twenty years loving a man who disrespected her. She permitted society, her family and friends to give her an excuse to remain in a heartbreaking relationship. But, when she finally accepted that she deserved better. That she deserved respect. That she deserved honor. That she deserved love. When she finally realized that true love never fails she figured out that she could move mountains. Tonight, as I sit reflecting on my week and sipping my Solo Soy Cafe Mocha Tall, I'm proud that I loved her through her confusion, pain and doubt. I admit I often lost patience with her but was reminded that she would do what she had to do when she was truly ready to do it. This week she decided no threat would continue to steal her happiness. This week, she patiently and lovingly took her life back. She is now a single woman and she is sincerely estatic about it!
